   Innerleithen Golf Course
Innerleithen Innerleithen

Innerleithen golf course is a 9 hole golf course located 32 miles South of Edinburgh and 6 miles from Peebles.  The course is set within 1 of 3 valleys and has spectacular surroundings.  The Leithen Valley and its river form an integral part of the course and requires a great deal of accuracy to negotiate the course and score well.

This is now our fifth course of today and it started to rain on the first tee.  The course is super flat with one or two elevated tees.  Probably the hardest hole on the course is the 474 yard par 4 3rd which has an elevated tee that looks across the course and dog legs to the right with the green beside the practice putting green.  The signature hole on the course is the 100 yard par 3 5th that you play over the road up to a plateau green simply superb.

The course was surprisingly empty and we ran round the course.  Scoring was very good Craig had 9 straight pars and therefore no dongo.  Stu shot 8 over a good score with 2 dongos.  Stu also managed to tuck Craig away 2&1.

Again the lads recommend this course to anyone looking to play golf in the Borders.  You could easily make a day of it by playing here and Selkirk down the road and you would not be disappointed.
