So our second course of today.  After a couple of black pudding rolls and a pot o’ tea it was down to the par 3 course to knock another one of the list. 

Now Swanston par 3 course must be the best par 3 course greens in Scotland.  All are USGA compliant.  An excellent course for new golfers and excellent for juniors especially in the summer holidays.

Score wise it was an excellent round for Stu he had just gained his very first handicap only to go round in 35 which is 8 over an excellent achievement.  Two dongos were carded however no super dongo to clear Lauder (yet!).  Craig left it to the last hole where he managed to keep the dongo trail on track.

The signature hole has to be the 4th which is a lovely par 3 (80 yards) with the appropriately named lake (named by Stu I hasten to add!) Lake Hunnawannadoodoo (AKA Moultrays Moat)

We would highly recommend new golfers to join this course.
